Crashd ("the app", "we", "us") is operated by MARKETEZEAI LTD, the data controller for the personal data described in this policy.
The app is distributed on the Apple App Store by Carl Brindle (individual Apple Developer account) on behalf of MARKETEZEAI LTD, which determines how and why your personal data is processed and is the controller responsible for it.
Crashd is built to keep your data on your device and in your own Apple iCloud. We do not run any servers or backend of our own. Your information is stored on your device and synced (if you enable iCloud) through Apple's private CloudKit — a space only you can access. We cannot see it.
We do not sell your data. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking SDKs. We do not track you across other apps or websites.

Crashd reads caffeine you've logged in Apple Health to compute your daily total. Crashd writes the caffeine in drinks you log to Apple Health so you have a single source of truth. If you enable it, Crashd also reads sleep data on demand to show your personal caffeine-and-sleep correlation.
Your HealthKit data never leaves your device. Crashd does not transmit, share, or store your HealthKit data anywhere outside of Apple Health and your device's local storage. We never copy HealthKit data into our iCloud/CloudKit container. You can grant or revoke this access at any time in the Health app or iOS Settings; the app works without it.
We use RevenueCat, Inc. (USA) to manage subscriptions. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app-user identifier and your Apple purchase/transaction data so we can grant and restore Crashd Pro. It does not receive your name or your health data. Payment itself is handled by Apple — we never see your card details. RevenueCat acts as our processor; data may be processed in the United States under appropriate safeguards (section 9).
The coach runs on Apple's on-device Foundation Models. Your conversations with the coach are generated and stored on your device only. They are not sent to us, to Apple's servers, or to any third-party AI service. We do not use a remote AI provider. Coach replies are marked as AI-generated, and you'll see a one-time consent screen before your first chat. On devices that don't support Apple Intelligence, the coach falls back to fixed, pre-written messages with no AI processing.
We process your data on these bases: performance of a contract (to provide the app and your subscription), consent (Apple Health access, camera, the AI coach — each of which you can refuse or withdraw), and legitimate interests (keeping the app stable and secure via non-identifying diagnostics).
You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your personal data, and to object to processing. Because almost all of your data lives on your device and your own iCloud:

Your in-app data stays in Apple's iCloud, governed by Apple's terms. RevenueCat may process subscription data in the United States; where data leaves the UK/EEA, it is protected by appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement / Addendum or equivalent.
Your data persists on your device and iCloud until you delete it (in-app account deletion, or by removing the app and its iCloud data). Diagnostic data follows Apple's App Analytics retention. RevenueCat retains subscription records per its own policy.
Crashd is not directed at children under 16, and the App Store age rating reflects mature subject matter (energy-drink dependency). We do not knowingly collect data from children under 16. If a parent believes a child has used the app, contact us and we'll help delete the data.
We may update this policy. The "last updated" date will change, and material changes will be surfaced in the app where appropriate.
